Roles and responsibilities:
• Help design civil works such as roads, stormwater management systems, underground services, water-retaining structures and mass excavations for site development projects in key sectors (mining and metals, infrastructure, and energy) • Manage the practice for assigned projects
• Determine project needs and find innovative solutions • Prepare work methods and job steps for the team • Supervise and assist with engineering tasks
• Oversee production of models and drawings, in collaboration with designers • Ensure that project procedures and standards are followed
• Coordinate with other practices on design elements • Oversee and assist with technical document management • Track and measure the team’s progress
• Help train other engineers on the team Qualifications and experience:
• Bachelor of Civil Engineering
• At least 7 years of relevant experience
• In-depth knowledge of stormwater management
• In-depth knowledge of road and pavement geometry • Familiarity with Autodesk Civil 3D, Bentley OpenRoads and ProjectWise software (an asset)
• Ability to effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Ability to adapt to different clients and industries
• Bilingual in French and English, both written and spoken
