Roles and responsibilities:
โข Help design civil works such as roads, stormwater management systems, underground services, water-retaining structures and mass excavations for site development projects in key sectors (mining and metals, infrastructure, and energy) โข Manage the practice for assigned projects
โข Determine project needs and find innovative solutions โข Prepare work methods and job steps for the team โข Supervise and assist with engineering tasks
โข Oversee production of models and drawings, in collaboration with designers โข Ensure that project procedures and standards are followed
โข Coordinate with other practices on design elements โข Oversee and assist with technical document management โข Track and measure the teamโs progress
โข Help train other engineers on the team Qualifications and experience:
โข Bachelor of Civil Engineering
โข At least 7 years of relevant experience
โข In-depth knowledge of stormwater management
โข In-depth knowledge of road and pavement geometry โข Familiarity with Autodesk Civil 3D, Bentley OpenRoads and ProjectWise software (an asset)
โข Ability to effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously
โข Ability to adapt to different clients and industries
โข Bilingual in French and English, both written and spoken
